What do you install around the front entry?
We hang pre-lit wreaths over garage doors and on the front door, run lit garland over the entry and along porch railings and columns, and light the walkway up to the door. Everything connects to the same timer as the roofline so the whole house comes on together at dusk. Wreaths and garland are available on residential and commercial installs across the whole service area.
Why does the entry matter so much?
From the street, people see the roofline. From the driveway and the sidewalk, they see the door. A lit roofline over a dark porch looks half done. Garland on the columns and a wreath over the garage finish the picture, and they are the part of the display you see every night when you pull in.
How is it quoted?
Wreaths, garland and entry lighting are add-ons on the proposal. You can take them with a residential or commercial roofline package or on their own. The mockup shows them placed on your house. Do you supply the wreaths and garland or do I buy my own?
RM Lighting Solutions supplies pre-lit commercial-grade wreaths and garland as part of the install, so they match the roofline lights in color and brightness. If you already own pieces you like, tell us on the form and we will hang them as part of the job and connect them to the same timer.
Where do wreaths and garland usually go?
Over the garage doors, on the front door, around the entry and along the porch railing and columns. Garland on columns and over the entry is the most common request because it is the part of the house people walk up to. Everything ties into the same timer as the roofline so it all comes on together.
Is entryway lighting available for commercial buildings?
Yes. Garland over a storefront entrance, wreaths on double doors and lit column wraps at a lobby entry are all standard on commercial jobs. The entry is where customers walk in, so on most commercial proposals it is the second thing we light after the roofline.
